David Jolley

General Manager

Dave is passionate about structures and his industry experience spans well beyond 22 years. From civil, industrial and commercial construction all the way through to project management, Dave has done it all.

His versatile range of skills ensure that he is able to engage all of the right people to meet your construction needs, making him a valuable person to engage when looking for a last minute solution.

With his personal interests in contractual innovation continually oozing into his professional career, it’s not uncommon for Dave to be ahead of industry trends. In fact, he has spent nine years being heavily involved in the design, manufacture and installation of modular and prefabricated structure across multiple industries in Australia and the pacific.

Whilst not at work, you can often find Dave spending time with his family, travelling, camping and/or fishing, especially in remote locations. If you’re lucky, he might even share a few golden spots with you.

Morris McKeenan

Chief Operating Officer

Morris is the official guru of temporary structures. He has travelled the world with Barlens and knows the importance of delivering the best solution to each client. He has installed structures of every size and his industry knowledge makes him a vital asset to our team.

Within a few minutes of speaking to Morris, he will make you feel as though you have been friends for years. This allows you to feel at ease when in the organising and coordination phase as he takes care of all the logistical work. You tell him the problem and he’ll greet you with a solution.

From the installation and pack down, all the way to the booking of a contract, Morris is as hands on as you can get and with over 15 years of industry experience, he has literally done it all.

When he manages to score a few free moments, you can often find Morris sipping on a nice red with his beautiful wife, or planning their next big trip to Asia, if he’s doing none of the above, he’s convincing his daughter to move back home from the sunny Gold Coast.

Peter Taylor

Chief Executive Officer

Peter has been involved in the temporary structure business since 2010 and has extensive experience in this sector. Based out of Canberra, he is consistently on the move to ensure that we are engaging all of the right people and always on top of industry trends and policies.

A regular week for Peter will see him travelling between Sydney, Melbourne and a variety of other destinations in Australia to maintain industry contacts. This not only means that Barlens Structure Solutions is in front of our competitors by way of technology, but also with regards to our industry resources.

Peter is proud of the team alongside him at structure solutions and knows that you will be in great company when organising your next structure.

When not at work, you can often find Peter supporting his treasured AFL team the GWS Giants, hanging out with his three boys, or watching an episode or two of Modern Family.


Over the last several seasons, our fan base outgrew the capacity we were able to accommodate in just our permanent grandstand, so we’ve relied on Barlens to save the day. They turn an otherwise uneventful patch of gravel into a lively, corporate hospitality area with a professional marquee and a classy, casual fit out. We’re proud to have Barlens as a partner as they’ve really helped us take the next step with our business.
