In 2021 BEX was formed by the merging of multiple exhibition businesses, formerly known as PES and Expo Solutions. The launch of BEX brings together the best of these businesses, and the best of Barlens, to deliver world class exhibition services and experiences.

Canberra born & bred

Over 50 years ago Barlens was started by three Canberra locals, Barry Whyte, Stuart Hancock and Lenny Rich, on a grand sum of $1,200. Since then, Barlens has evolved from a small party hire business to an iconic and beloved full-service event hire company. Still locally owned and operated, Barlens brings a myriad of local know-how and exhibition experience to BEX.

Innovation from up north

Opened in 2000 by brothers John and Brendan Fallon, PES sought to provide boutique-style displays and exhibition services to the Queensland region, doing so with excellent customer service at the forefront.

Over the years the duo has been dedicated to innovation in exhibition products and services, attaining the rights to FOGA Systems Australia in 2007. Alongside many other things, the Fallons bring this knowledge and expertise to BEX and are excited to show you how to make the most of your exhibition with FOGA.

Expo expertise

Founded in 2017, Expo Solutions has years of experiencing supplying and servicing exhibitions in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Specialising in custom builds, the team from Expo Solutions have considerable experience in designing, creating, and building exhibition solutions to suit your individual specifications.
