Our top tips on exhibition prep

Planning an exhibition can be a daunting task. Luckily, you don’t have to be in it alone, BEX has decades of experience planning, supplying, and servicing exhibitions across the east coast of Australia.

Here are our top tips on exhibition prep, and how we can support you along the way.

Prior planning prevents poor performance

We know it’s a tired old saying, but when it comes to a successful exhibition, it’s true that prior planning can make sure things go off without a hitch.

When you know ‘why’ you’re holding an exhibition, it’s a lot easier to determine how you’re going to do it. That’s why the first step in planning a successful expo is to map out a goal and vision for the day.

Once you’ve done the vision board, it’s time to work out how many exhibitors you’d like, and start thinking about a venue. Is your exhibition suited to a large convention centre? Or a local town hall?

Now that you’ve got an idea of the why, the who and the where, it’s time to start thinking of how far your budget will stretch. Invest in the right booth structures, custom signage, and hire AV equipment to leave the right impression on exhibitors and attendees.

Now is a good time to get in touch with BEX. We can help work through your vision and give you some suggestions on how to really bring it to life. We can discuss the benefits of a Corinthian booth, a FOGA booth and a modular stand, the importance of custom branding, why you should hire furniture, and more.

It’s almost time to sit back and watch the exhibition come to life, but before you do, make sure to consider the logistics of the day. Think about exhibitor access, bump in, and bump out, a schedule or run sheet and ticketing arrangements.

Once expo day rolls around you’ll be prepared, excited and have a team of industry professionals in your corner, making sure everything goes to plan.
