Get the basics
First, choose if you’ll host a sophisticated dinner party or a cheery backyard barbecue.
Hire a wooden Trestle Table or two – these are available in 2.4m, 1.8m and 1.2m – and cover them in black or white tablecloths. These tables work well to display a large spread of food, such as pizzas, kebabs or a colourful grazing feast. Similarly, they can be set up to seat your guests more formally on modern Broadway Chairs or classic Coburg Chairs.
For an outdoor party, you’ll need a heavy duty barbecue to feed a large crew – hire our large stainless steel BBQ to get those snags sizzling in bulk. String Festoon Lights for a warm and welcoming scene.
The future for adventure
After putting in years of effort into their studies, the future looks bright. Provide a map of the world where guests can pin their favourite travel destination to provide inspiration and ideas.
Add a few other simple touches. Make origami graduation hats for the tables, and find balloons for the year of the graduation. Collect pearls of wisdom and write them up on a blackboard or dot them around the room.
Adulting can wait!
Let kids be kids for as long as possible! Inject plenty of fun into the celebration with Giant Jenga, a game of Cornhole or Giant Connect 4.
Create a photo booth for all the friends to capture their big moment. Charcoal Panels with feet make a good solid backdrop for your own decorations. Use statement chairs to sit in front of the wall – try our Two Seater Acapulco, Grass Ottoman or the cool Big Blo Two Seater Inflatable Lounge.
No matter your theme or location, you’ll want champagne flutes to toast to their success (and your survival).
